Classes at Marquette University: Tues & Thurs nights @ 6pm. We will be moving about initially as Marquette is still preparing the new practice space for us. Classes run through the semester. Beginners welcome. We have masks and weapons for beginners, however individuals are encouraged to purchase their own jackets, much as one would buy one's own gi at a Japanese or Chinese Dojo. Class offerings this Spring (12 week session):

all participants must pay annual registration fee ($25)


* - Class open to all levels, including beginners.
** - Prerequisite - Junior level and one semester of bouting.
*** - Prerequisite - completion of one semester study in the Italian Technique course and continued study/usage of the Fiorretto and Spada.


One... Two!

As the second branch of the Classical Fencing Society Scuola di Arma (CFSSDA), members of the Classical Fencing Society (CFS) at MU continue the traditions and strive to live out the principles of fencing in the Milwaukee area. In addition to combining the lessons of the Piste with those of school, work and life, Marquette CFS members also find time to enjoy all which Milwaukee has to offer. They can often be seen fencing at many of Milwaukee's festivals or merely taking advantage of one of the city's many lakefront views.

The Spring fencing schedule begins the week of January 21st at Marquette University and at Turners. Mon. and Wed. night and Sat. morning classes will be through the Milwaukee Turners (1034 N. 4th St. - across from the Bradley Center) and Tues and Thurs night classes will be at Marquette University.
